Regional offices
The AEU has offices in Ballarat, Benalla, Bendigo, Geelong and Morwell, each staffed by an organiser and office secretary.

Our country organisers regularly visit workplaces across their region and can help members to organise around local issues and AEU campaigns and develop a strong union presence in their schol or institution. They also:
- Support AEU sub-branch representatives in their roles
- Conduct union training and PD throughout the region, run sessions at your workplace on topics such as legal liability and health and safety, and run briefings for education support members, beginning teachers and other groups
- Visit sub-branches and workplaces by invitation to speak to members on specific issues
- Provide individual advice on all aspects of members' agreements and working conditions
- Help with WorkCover claims, grievances, complaints procedures and Merit Protection Board appeals.
Regional office secretaries are available to help members with union membership information and sub-branch administration as required.
