Adult multicultural education service
The AMES section is part of the AEU's TAFE and Adult Provision (TAP) sector. Jo Fogarty is the AEU branch TAP vice president, while Bob Parr is the AEU's AMES organiser.
The AEU has just negotiated a new agreement for AMES teachers, with pay rises of around 30% over three years for most members, and no trade-off in conditions.

AMES committee
AMES committee meetings are held at the AEU office, 112 Trenerry Crescent, Abbotsford and run from 5.30pm, eight times a year. AMES members are also represented by elected councillors on the AEU TAFE and Adult Provision sector council. » more...
