CRT Association
What is it?
AEU branch conference or branch council may establish associations of members who have common interests under Rule 26.
The CRT Association was formed under this rule and held its inaugural meeting on 18 May 2008 at the AEU Abbotsford office. More than 40 members attended with an approximately equal number of apologies.
An association may make recommendations to branch conference, branch council, branch executive or sector councils on matters affecting the common interests of association members.
Who can join?
Any current CRT financial member from primary, secondary or early childhood sector is eligible to be a member of the CRT Association. Members who are on contract work are not eligible to be members of the association.
Meetings
Meetings are held at different locations to enable CRT members from different areas to attend. Check back here for details of the next meeting.
Note: The time spent at these meeting can be counted as professional development for VIT registration purposes.
