Why Climate Change is Union Business
The AEU has had a long-standing Environmental Policy, which includes putting a price on carbon.
The ACTU and its many union members want to see a just transition to an economy based on renewable energy, and the thousands of clean safe jobs that entails. We have to be part of this important economic reform to make sure working people and their families get a fair deal in the move to a low-pollution economy.
