The AEU offers a wide range of industrial training and professional development opportunities for members in disability services, tailored to your needs, including an biennial disability services conference.
All AEU disability services committee meetings now feature training sessions on campaigning towards a new agreement.
Disability workshop
This full-day workshop for members in disability services will cover training for AEU reps, OH&S, legal liability and duty of care, and look at the changing industrial landscape in the sector, including the new model awards. Open to all disability members.

Disability ERO workshop
The Equal Remuneration Order (ERO) delivers payrises to employees in community and disability services. This workshop runs across the state for employees covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award. The one-hour presentatin will include time for questions and answers and a chance to check your classification and correct rate of pay - remember to bring your payslip. Open to non-members.
