Disability services training and PD

The AEU offers a wide range of industrial training and professional development opportunities for members in disability services, tailored to your needs, including an biennial disability services conference.

All AEU disability services committee meetings now feature training sessions on campaigning towards a new agreement.

Staying safe in disability services

November 29: This free training day for AEU members in disability services will focus on health and safety issues in the sector. Guest speakers will focus on risk management and common health and safety hotspots in the disability sector. A panel forum will allow members to raise matters in their own workplaces.

The AEU will provide backfill for up to 50 participants, so ask your manager soon about this free PD. The training takes place at the AEU office in Abbotsford.

To register, email mary.denman@aeuvic.asn.au by November 22.
