Asbestos Awareness Week seminar

Held each November, Asbestos Awareness Week highlights the continuing danger of asbestos, shares good practice for addressing those dangers, and presses governments to adopt a national stragegy for the removal and disposal of asbestos.The AEU holds a seminar during the week on asbestos in education buildings.

Asbestos in schools and public buildings requires constant vigilance and management. What are the learnings of the Asbestos Labelling Pilot in schools? What are the experiences of staff on the ground? What is the National Asbestos Review seeking to deliver? A variety of speakers will address these issues.
