Professional networks

The AEU represents the professional as well as the industrial interests of its members. It is the most important professional body for workers in public education in Australia. Professional issues are central to the everyday work of all of its members.

The AEU runs networks for professional development coordinators and curriculum coordinators as part of its program to enhance communications with members on professional issues.

The networks are primarily for members who hold PD or curriculum coordinator posts in their schools‚ but they are open to all AEU members.

Members of the networks receive a regular e-newsletter — see below — and news about AEU PD courses and events‚ including those organised by our partner TLN. They also receive copies of AEU submissions on professional issues.

They also automatically become subscribers to our professional journal, Professional Voice.

To find out more about the networks‚ or to join‚ email John Graham or call (03) 9418 4888.
