This one-day intensive workshop covers the brain systems that relate these issues and provide activities for helping students overcome difficulties in the inputs, processing and outputs of 8 main brain systems.

Summary: This workshop assists serving and aspiring school leaders to articulate a personal response to leadership and develop their application writing and interview skills. The workshop looks at leadership styles, the role of leadership in nurturing change, building the capacity of school leadership and the role of emotional intelligence in achieving quality outcomes.Participants will be encouraged to recognise their strengths and skills, and to translate these into effective applications and interview presentations.

Summary: The primary objective of the program is to investigate whole school strategies to progress learning for all students and investigate how to improve outcomes for students with dyslexia/SLD which includes examining the following:an understanding of what dyslexia and other SLDs are; the day-to-day challenges students with SLD experience in the classroom; the emotional aspects of having SLD; investigate, as a leader, approaches to create an SLD-inclusive learning environment.
