Summary:
In 2025 the AEU is providing a one-day Reps Training course for AEU TAFE Sub-Branch executive members.
This training provides a fantastic opportunity to meet other AEU TAFE reps, explore key entitlements, develop an understanding of the bargaining process including a campaign update. It is designed to support AEU TAFE reps to feel confident about growing and supporting their sub-branch.
TAFE members have access to trade union training leave (clause 49) which allows teachers to attend up to five days of union training in any one year (or 10 days over two years).
