The AEU is providing a new, free one-day training course for AEU Early Childhood members who want to build the strength of the AEU amongst their teacher and educator colleagues.

This training provides a fantastic opportunity to meet other AEU Early Childhood members who want to do more within their union. Together, we will explore key entitlements, develop an understanding of the bargaining process, including a campaign update, and explore how to increase AEU membership amongst your colleagues. This course is designed to support you to feel more confident and informed so that you can create effective local structures to achieve positive change.

Morning tea and lunch is provided.

The AEU offers teacher/educator replacement costs where your workplace has employed a replacement (Casual Relief Teacher or Educator) for you on the day you undertake the training.

If you are employed under the VECTEA and EEEA you have a clear entitlement to attend union training. If you don't have access to union training as part of your agreement, we can support members to work with your employer so you can attend.
