Please Note: Online registrations for this event have now closed. Should you wish to attend the forum, please email [email protected] Building deadly futures in union! Join us and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members at this important two day forum, which brings together mob from all sectors to influence and shape the work of the union.
This forum will focus on colonial load in the workplace, how this affects you and your work, and how our union can help make positive change in this space. This is a further opportunity to gather together, network, and create meaningful change.
We know when we work together, we can make positive change.
The AEU will cover replacement costs for your attendance at the forum, if you need to be replaced at your workplace on one or both days of the event. For members attending from regional areas (i.e. travel more than 100kms each way from your home to the AEU building in Abbotsford), the AEU will also cover travel and accommodation expenses consistent with the arrangements and rules set by the AEU Victorian Branch council. If you need support with child care arrrangements, please get in touch.
If you have any access or support requirements in order to fully participate, please indicate such information when asked while registering for the event online. Please note that the venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs and mobility aides.
Registrations close on 29 August at 12.00pm, with confirmation emails to be sent by close of business on the same day.
We look forward to seeing you at the forum.
